Physical therapy is the basis for the rehabilitation of athletes after injuries of varying severity, as it ensures a return to functional activity. This article reviews and analyzes modern approaches to physical therapy after sports injuries. Having analyzed the theoretical works of foreign and domestic scientists, an increase in recommendations for the use of modern approaches to physical therapy is clearly observed.Purpose. Research on modern approaches to physical therapy after sports injuries, in particular the introduction of innovative technologies and their evaluation in comparison with traditional methods.Methods. Analysis of literary sources and the Internet, content analysis of scientific and metric databases, comparative analysis.Results. Based on a review of foreign and domestic works of scientists, the effectiveness of traditional and innovative approaches to physical therapy after sports injuries was compared and a number of key patterns were identified. Traditional approaches to physical therapy are characterized by duration and low level of effectiveness, which makes it difficult to completely eliminate the consequences of injuries and restore physical functions and sports qualities of athletes. Particular attention is focused on the implementation of the latest technologies, individualized recovery programs, a multidisciplinary approach to therapy, as well as the integration of innovative methods, such as the use of artificial intelligence, virtual reality, biomechanical analysis and neurophysiological monitoring. This approach allows not only to increase the effectiveness of rehabilitation, but also to significantly reduce its duration, minimizing the risk of complications and repeated injuries. Modern approaches to physical therapy after sports injuries demonstrate high effectiveness, especially when integrating innovative technologies into the rehabilitation process.Conclusions. As shown by the analysis of literary sources, the effectiveness of using modern approaches to physical therapy after sports injuries exceeds the effectiveness of using traditional methods. Thus, this topic is relevant and has prospects for research and implementation in the near future. It is advisable to continue research on the integrated use of traditional and high-tech methods, which opens up new prospects in physical therapy.
